The lady at the help desk is extremely rude. The rest of the stuff was fine.
Had 8 people in front of me to get picture taken. Took an hour and 45 minutes. One of the guys taking pictures would pick and choose who he wanted to chat with while the photos were developing rather than taking people in between. Sometimes he would chat and sometimes he’d have the people get up and take someone else while the photo was developed.I got to hear about where he lived and playing lacrosse etc etc. Would love a job like that. Unbelievable!
Arrived at 9:40 on a Thursday morning. Initially seemed like an efficient operation. Estimated wait time printed on ticket was 34 minutes. It is now 10:40, and Mom has not been called up yet. The place is getting increasingly crowded as things behind the counter get bogged down. Air conditioning is getting room to meat locker temperatures. Good enough for government work.
The staff is really trying hard to be as expedient as the computer system and identity theft precautions allow. They are as friendly as you are with them, or just as grumpy, so it pays to be patient with underpaid crew in an understaffed office, and smile. Third one in line on a weekday morning, I was out in 15 minutes.
I'm writing this while waiting for my turn which has taken forever. My phone is almost out of battery and I don't know if I'll make it. Please tell my family I love them as it is uncertain if I will make it out anytime soon. My phone is at 1% now... I warn all that come... its not worth it...
